Fluoride at clinically aligned levels

Sodium fluoride remains the most evidence-supported active against caries. Every BioAnnova formula contains it at the levels endorsed by the British Dental Association.

Low-abrasion polishing (RDA-aware)

We formulate below RDA 70 — comfortably under the threshold dentists consider safe for daily long-term use, so you brighten enamel without wearing it down.

Potassium nitrate for true sensitivity relief

Our Sensitive paste uses 5% potassium nitrate — the active most often endorsed for nerve-conducted sensitivity, with measurable effects in two weeks.

Clean by exclusion

No sodium lauryl sulphate, no parabens, no synthetic dyes, no triclosan, no artificial sweeteners. Every ingredient earns its place — or it isn't in the tube.

A note on claims

Every BioAnnova paste is formulated to the FDA OTC Anticaries Monograph standard (21 CFR §355). The fluoride active, the concentration, and the indications match what the FDA recognises as safe and effective for daily caries prevention — the same framework every fluoride toothpaste sold in the United States is built to.

We dose at 1450 ppm fluoride — the level the NHS and the WHO recommend for adults and at-risk children, and the level the 2019 Cochrane Review identified as significantly more protective than 1000–1250 ppm pastes. It is the highest concentration sold without prescription in the UK, the EU, and the US.
